View Larger Image   Mohawk Breast Drill 2-Speed Millers Falls   Description: This is a nice clean 16.5" long 2 speed breast drill, made by the well known quality tool maker, Millers Falls, at their Shelburne Mass. plant. It is marked "MOHAWK SHELBURNE MADE IN U.S.A. PAT 1770884" on the steel crank handle, and also marked :MOHAWK SHELBURNE" on the label that is on the red painted crank wheel. This one has black painted breast push plate, with about 85% of the paint intact. About 90% of the red/orange paint is intact, about 90% on the main shaft casting in black. The hardwood handles are clean with rosewood stain, in very good solid condition, minimal wear nice finish, the side handle has a few tight grain seperation, but tested and found solid and strong. This one comes with a nice 0-1/2" capacity (3-jaw) drill chuck, in very good shape! This type chuck is spring loaded, designed to hold straight shank drill bit up to 1/2" diameter. A very nice quality made heavy duty tool overall, works great, looks great too!
