View Larger Image   Sea Otter, Handcrafted, Wood, Tom Taber   Description: I have been able to find only a smidgen of information on this item. This sea otter is lying on its back and clasping brass clamshells. measures 15.5 in. long and is 4.25 in. wide. The height to the top of its head is 3.5 in. Very well detailed with whiskers and finely carved surface. Bottom marked Tom Taber in a burned in signature. My searches show Tom Taber was famous for and did many Duck decoys. I was unable to find another sea otter. So maybe a one of a kind? Undamaged condition and my best guesstimate would be from the '60's-'70's era.
