View Larger Image   Lufkin Folding Rule Brass Bound No. 3881 (66 3/4)   Description: This is a good clean, quality made fully brass bound 36" 4 fold rule, with the strong arch center joint design. It has good inch markings, and nice snug hinges and center joint. All three brass alignment pins are in place and in good working order. We note some wear in the mating holes opposite the two inside brass alignment pins. The rule is straight with very minor warpage. There is a little bit more wear on the outside wood, than the more protected inside wood, but the graduations can be seen well on either. Some darkened type staining noted on the outside wood, much less on the inside wood, all graduations can be seen. It's marked "LUFKIN NO. 3881 (66 3/4) WARRENTED BOXWOOD".
