View Larger Image   Majolica Plaque, Polychrome? glaze   Description: A very unique, vintage wall plaque. I believe this is in the Majolica line. Measures 12.25 in. diameter. Appears to be an earthenware with the enameling having an slightly irridescent glow. Polychrome? Decorated with a griffin holding a shield and a multitude of vines leaves, flowers? etc. Please view images carefully. Back stamped with a number only 1867 I think plus a CV and 56 in a blue stamp.
