STANLEY No. 10 1/4 Wood Plane Tilt Handles exceptional cond..-wartime model For Sale

This plane is a collectors dream. It is a 10 ¼ Stanley. It is in about as nice as condition as you will find one. What I mean is it has not been refurbished. It has not been sitting around for the last 75 years getting rusty and has been cleaned up for sale nor does it look like it has had much use. It is almost factory new. 100% original Japanning, full length iron, and both spurs are there. I believe this plane was made in the early 1940’s. The iron depth adjusting knob seems to be made of hard rubber or plastic and the tote and knob screws are all steel rather than brass. The tote and knob seem to be Rosewood and are unique to the 10 ¼ in that they rotate to either side of the plane to keep ones hands from hitting the wood while cutting rabbits.
