Up for sale is the Big Boy of Benchmade folding knives!This configuration is hard to find even in used condition, but you\'re looking at A VERY RARE example of a FIRST PRODUCTION Benchmade BLACKWOOD RUKUS 610 with plain-edge satin blade with MATCHING NUMBERED original packaging. This Rukusalso has the desirable Neil Blackwood logo! This is #977 of the first 1000 made on the First Production run, and is so numbered on the pocket clip-side of the blade.

CONDITION: I am the second owner (that I know of) and this Rukus has been entirely a SAFE QUEEN. I bought it with intention to actually use it but I just couldn\'t bring myself to do it. THIS ONEIS FOR A SERIOUS COLLECTOR. Only one or two VERY MINOR marks on the black liners... please see pics for details. There is no play in the blade in any direction, lockup is very solid, and the blade is well centered when closed. It is in near mint condition (99.99% condition), never having been carried, used to cut anything, etc. Even the micarta handles have zero visible darkening/staining from handling or storage... they are basically factory fresh! You really can\'t get any more MINT than this example... especially for a knife closing in on being a decade old and out of production!

I just bought another used Rukus 610as a daily-carry user, so I am letting this one go at a fair price, given it\'s extreme rarity in this almost pristine/mint condition... and as it is also a Rukus 610from the very First Production run back in 2006.

Includes original matching numbered box in good condition, Benchmade User Guide, original plastic knife wrapper, and a black Benchmade-logo\'d microfiber drawstring pouch/bag.
