VINTAGE 1960\'s RARE THELWELL PLASTECH PONY & RIDER Flea bitten grey For Sale

This is a plastic model Thelwell pony that was from my collection from the late 60\'s, fashioned after the Norman Thelwell cartoon ponies in his books. It is a flea bitten gray molded plastic with a black hair mane & tail . The paint is perfect on the eyes and hooves. The hair is also in good condition.He has his hip T brand,,The red bow is really showing it\'s age at the top of the tail, which is slightly frayed at the ends and some of the silver edging is missing, NO ribbon on the mane. It is also stamped ENGLAND underneath the belly along the seam. He is wearing a bridle and reins and comes with a saddle and stirrups..The elastic girth has a little sagwhich snaps underneath the pony\'sbelly. Penelope, the rider, also comes with the pony. She is also made of plastic and is in good condition with the exception of the center of her eyes& lipsthe paint has faded. . Her cheeks still look rosy. The rest of the paint on her is in great condition.She has blond hair pulled back in a tight little bun which is in perfect condition.
