offeredis a fabulous late 1940\'s art deco \"stellor vega\" pocket petrol concealed lighter. the silver plated lighter features wonderful engine turned design with slide up mechanism action. as you lift the snuffer lid - the mechanism lifts up out of body. this unique design was invented in 1940 by jean genoud of lyon france as seen in patent sketch. i have also shown photo of\"stellor vega\" from the peter brooks unusual mechanism lighter book.the quality lighter measures about2-1/4\" tall x 1-1/8\" wide and is in very good lite used condition. somelite use scratches are hard to see.themechanism has a strong sparking action and will operate with service of fuel. overall - an important late 1940\'s french art deco\"stellor vega\" concealedpocket lighter for your collection.
