1970-80\'s USAF Pilot Flight Helmet F-4 Fighter Weapons Squadron A-10? MBU-5 MaskThis is a USAF pilot\'s helmet from the later 1970\'s or the early 1980\'s. I believe it is from a USAF Fighter Weapons Squadron either F-4 Phantom or possibly A-10 Warthog. It has a custom fit leather liner and earcups with a sewn on leather edge roll. The leather is all in good condition, but the foam behind the leather earcups has disintegrated and needs to be replaced. Overall the helmet is in nice used condition. There are a lot of small scuffs on the back from normal use. The dark visor has a small crack (1/4\" long) starting from the nose cut out. It is not that noticeable, but I have shown a close up photo of it. There is also one scratch on the dark visor. The MBU-5/P oxygen mask is included and is in good used condition. I will also include a 1980\'s flight helmet bag in the deal. The styrofoam head and sunglasses are not included.
