26” Disston No. 9 Spring Steel 5 Point Cross Cut Saw Near Full Paper Label For Sale

Near full depth on this old saw. About 7 3/4\" to 3 1/4\". most of the paper label remains as shown. This is a 5 point crosscut saw. Excellent wood, full nib and straight blade with all its teeth. Be advised there is a bevel off the toe of the blade as shown. Probably this is a mid 1870\'s saw given the split nuts. Remains in remarkably good shape. Previous owner (George Cutler) made damn sure everyone knew who owned the saw. Any way, nice old relic. Please note the hairline crack on the bottom back of the handle.
