Up for offer is a LOT. AND WILL NOT BREAK IT APART.The crest appears to be German made,272ND Infantry Regiment DUI, also known as The Battle Axe Regt. it also has the Bronze Star assembly,WW II Veterians Pin, and a lapel pin stating that the 69TH Infantry Division which the 272ND INF REGT was a part of.. This pin has stamped on the back side, 10KGF. They were the 1ST outfit to link up with the Russians while advancing across Germany. I cannot say to which member ,that this belong to. But it is a pretty neat piece of history.Thanks for looking.
