Beautiful set of eight 1950\'s Mid Century Porcelain Painted Alter/Choir Boy Bell Christmas Ornaments.These eight Alter Boys/Choir Boys are wearing white and red cassocks with a black bowtie.Adorable painted little faces ~ all with open mouths ~ holding a red hymn book ~assuredly singing a Christmas Hymn.The boys are blondes, brunettes and red heads.Each one is stampedJAPANin red paint on the inside of the bells.All clappers are present and in working condition as shown in the photos.Measure 2.25 inches tall x 1.50 inches wide.The strings at the top of each bell is in excellent condition with no signs of wear.These bells were part of my family\'s Christmas decorations.They have been stored away in their original box for many years.They have never been displayed.These Alter/Choir Boys Bells, strings, clappers, box and insert are all in excellent condtion.On the bottom of the box, is a sticker which reads:
