Stunning antique dark pink cranberry glass decanter with English bulldog silver overlay. Includes the original all-clear glass stopper with silver overlay. Bulldog appears twice, once on each side. Gorgeous indentation borders the bottom of the decanter and is repeated in the stopper. This would make an amazing gift for collectors of antique decanters, cranberry glass, and dogs, in particular Georgia bulldogs fans. (Note that the cranberry glass is on the pinkish side of red.) Condition:Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description--please zoom in on them, particularly because we are *not* qualified to determine condition of antique glass. The only condition issue that is apparent to us is a loss of silver around a section of the side of the stopper -- this section is marked with arrows in the photos. Otherwise, the decanter is absolutely stunning with gorgeous cranberry coloring, complete silver overlay (that is tarnished) and no chips, cracks, scratches or residue of any kind. The inside of the bottle and the stopper are also free of all defects -- clean, shiny and smooth glass, no plastic of any kind of course.
