Romania (1893-1953).Provenance of platePrincess Helen of
Greece & Denmark,spouseof King Carol IIand mother Queen
ofRomania, later King Michael I.Princess Helen was daughter
of King Constantine I ofGreece & Queen Sophia of Prussia.
The plate was made by order of Royal family bythe famous
BohemiaCeramic Works( Rosenthal ) of Czechoslovakia.
On period 1922-1945Philip Rosenthal AG of Selb,Bavaria
was partner.The Royalfamily crest exist at the margin of plate,
in full colorenamelsand it ismarked underglaze in green, as
Bohemia Royal Ivory collection,Made inCzechoslovakia and
severalnumbers 229,40 with red dot.A unique & one of a kind
historical heirloom for bothRomanian & Greek Royal families
andgenerally a very rare andcollectable displayitem for Royalty
collections.Plate is in very good condition, expect a small point
discoloration of the gold rim at the left upper part of the Royal coat
of arms of Romania. ( check image No 4 ).
