Really nice Aladdin Classic Model #8 Art Nouveau style Brass Table Lamp with Aladdin #401 Satin White Shade. #8 Burner and #8 Flame Spreader. Very nice condition with great brass finish, only a few small blemishes to font and font cap and general wear to burner and other (see pictures). The lamp shade is very nice with just a few small flea bites on shade lower edge and otherwise as photographed. None of the imperfections really effect the lamp\'s appeal.
Great 1919-1920 lamp. These were only offered for a few years as styles were starting to move away from Art Nouveau around this time and these were fairly expensive to produce. Not sure if metal shade holder is newer or not.
We really only dusted this off. The brass portion has really nice original bright finish and we did not attempt to clean as many of these came with finish coating to the brass and we did not want to mess with the lamp as it looks so good as it is. There is no wick in burner and it did not have a chimney when we obtained. The riser wheel on burner seems a bit loose but the meshed gears which would engage the wick seem to operate as designed from what we can tell.
This was obtained lamp from a private collector\'s treasure trove of which we bought over 30, but they are selling almost as fast as we can list them and over 1/2 are gone. If you search our store you can search \"Lamps\" under our store categories and see some of the others. We obtained some rare and very nice lamps.
We relied on the previous owner\'s provided information to identify the lamp and some general research of our own. We do our very best to describe items as we see them, but we are not perfect, nor are we Aladdin experts. Please look over all pictures and zoom if needed. There may be some other minor blemishes or production blips, but we took pictures of every side of lamp and shade. Let us know if you have questions before offerding.
We ship with extreme care! 7% Sales tax is for Indiana residents only. Of course there is free local pick up and we can meet to assist if you are near Indianapolis or driving through. We do this often. We require signature confirmation on most items above $100, unless you request otherwise. Also, we have discounts with FedEx & on shipping which do not always show up in estimates on shipping. We try to refund what we can when there is a notable difference, but we do not know until we actually run shipping.
