Antique 18th-19th Century CHINESE Qing Dynasty LARGE Heavy BRONZE Temple BELL For Sale

Guaranteed to be original and as described -- Large and heavy antique 18th to 19th Century Qing Dynasty Chinese bronze temple bell with grape vine and grape bunches in high relief. The weight of this FINE antique Chinese bronze bell is around 17 pounds it is HEAVY Solid bronze and has over a 150 years of grey patina...SIZE: 17 inches high by about 9 3/4 inches at the widest part....CONDITION: The condition is fine..there are no cracks OR repairs. There is a very small casting flaw on the lower rim.. nothing detracting or major just mentioning for accuracy. The bell has a beautiful sound when rung... this would have never had a clapper..and these types of bells were rung with a cloth covered mallet. I suspect the cast iron clapper was put in around 100 years ago... (SEE PHOTO\'S).... ALL items that are sold as is as this is a sale.
