Antique 19th C Tinsmith Made Triangular Candle Lantern For Sale

An original antique, 19th century American tinsmith made candle lantern which measures approximately 16 1/2\" tall to the top of the wristlet and is 8\" wide on a side. The lantern is unusual in that it is triangular in form with the a back door which opens via a latch. The front two panes are covered with four flat tin guards while the door has lost (or had removed at one point) three of its original four guards. Other than the loss of the guards on the back door the lantern is in excellent all original condition.
