1940\'s era FANTASTIC ADVERTISING sign for Dog Cat Kennel !LARGE SIGN measurements are approximately 48\" inches wide x 35\" tall at center, made of 1/16\" thick heavy gauge steel, sign weighs 35 pounds. There are two holes at top for hanging or mounting to wall. Based on the graphics and style, we estimate this to be possibly late 30\'s or likely 1940\'s era. Hand painted, enamel over steel sheet metal, what makes it special in our opinion is the Fox Terrier and Jumping Cat (both have their shadows drawn underneath), unknown artist, no names found. Possibly from Kentucky or Tennessee. Reverse side is blank metal.Condition is very nice overall, metal in good shape, but obvious paint loss and flaking, worst at bottom as shown in photos.Due to size and weight of this sign, we prefer that buyer pickup in Louisville Kentucky.
