Original antique pre civil war era 18th to early 19th century folding pocket jackknife in very good used condition as shown. the metal side plates are in great shape as shown with incised carved designs on each side. the blades are tight with no snap (blades are not spring assist, manual opening and closing) and have been sharpened slightly. The knife when folded measures approx. 4 3/4 inches, main blade 3 5/8\". rare cavalryman\'s knife from the civil war era or earlier which makes a great display knife, maker unknown (FAST 2 ++).Item is in exact condition as on the photo and description.
