Nice Working Machine. Great for use and display. Serviced with a full spool of new (Baco professional brand) ribbon. See Type Sample. Pica (Larger 10 CPI \"Manuscript size\" Typeface). This machine does not have the Red switch option, however we only had black/red ribbon, so the ribbon must be flipped over to use the red. Great original metal spoke ribbon spools!Assessment: This typewriter is a totally original 1935. It has not been restored. It is a depression era machine, totally stripped down of most features for this \"financially challenged period\" in our history. NO bell, NO end margin, one single platen knob, one platen release lever, no back space, no dual color option, however The Junior is a nice re-skinned P model made in a fairly early time for Royal Portables. (The alignment of top cover is not perfect with close inspection. A straitening could be performed by the user. It is tin, however we leave all machines as original.) Its fine. This machine is over 80 years old. The retail price in 1935 is quoted as $33.50 (credits: typewriter database TWDB)The paint is beautiful in finish and shine, very deep looking black color. Displays beautifully. Most importantly, this would make a great feature-less lightweight portable \"User\"!

A seldom stick of a key is always possible. Any machine will loosen up further with use. This machine flows nicely, and types fine. Dust can accumulate down inside the machine or further detailing might be desired by the purchaser. Exercise care when cleaning. Typewriter springs are easy to knock off. Sometimes less detailing is best unless you are experienced or extremely careful.

For Priority Mail small flat rate boxes, we have no packing material charge. For anything larger, we include a 1.95 packing material charge, for vintage radios and electronics we add 4.95, and for large items such as table lamps and floor lamps, 7.95 is included. These charges are for the large amount of packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and include new boxes when necessary. We wrap with extreme care and the best of materials for the product to prevent any damage. We package with pride.
