Antique Vintage Red Crown Gilbert Barker 10 Gallon Visible Gas Pump Globe Sign  For Sale

Restored Antique Visible Gas Pump, circa: 1920\'s. Made by Gilbert & Barker - T Series.This pump was taken apart and restored a couple of years ago by a friend of mine now 90 years old. It was on the farm he grew up on in central Iowa. The restoration now has a few minor nicks & scratches from storage in his machine shop but overall it is still very good. Sharp looking pump!The cylinder fill/drain handle and plumbing moves up and down freely.The original pump is still in it and has a common square end shaft for a pump handle. The lower cover where the pump handle would go has been recently made during restoration. It needs a hole put in it for a pump handle to fit on the pump. The last photo shows the original iron pump handle that was with this pump, it is missing the wood hand grip and has had a poor repair/alteration so it will require some work to make it fit on the pump shaft again.Both complete gallon markers are original and are very good with one side having the numbers painted.The top of this pump was originally made for a light for the globe and lights coming down front and back to light up cylinder, but was not with the pump. It does still have original old electrical conduit that runs to top for light kit.The pump has a new Red Crown globe on top and Red Crown decal on one side, new metal I.D. and hazmattags, original old G.B. dye stamped tag, old contains lead sign, new 1\" gas hose with a good original 1920\'s brass gas hose nozzle, new acrylic 12.5\" x 24\" cylinder and cork cylinder gaskets.***Can store for 30 days or so after purchase.
