This hand-painted antique German clock appears to work. With pendulum and weights in place it will tick-tock for a while but clearly needs some adjustment as one can see in this video if you copy and paste the following link - https://youtu.be/0fJiG-4ivRI . The works case is wooden; the works are brass. Weights are cast iron and lead. The one-piece carved face is 17 ¾” x 12 ¾”; the depth from back to the hands is approx. 6”. The pendulum is 34 ½” in length and the bob is 2 ¾” in diameter.
We don’t know its age or origin but our best guess is early to mid-1800\'s in Germany or Pennsylvania. There is an apparent signature on the back and some numbers but we can’t read it.
The -generated shipping estimate shown here is for a single box containing everything but the pendulum.
We suggest that the pendulum be shipped separately in a tube. The buyer\'s shipping cost for the pendulum will be in addition to the -generated estimate.
Don\'t be shy about making an offer!
