Very, very rare souvenir lamp or desk/nightlight from the 1939 NY worlds fair. Art Deco building shaped in blue frosted glass. One side features a decal from the Hall of Marine Transportation, the other side, the Horticultural Exhibit.
Lamp is in working condition, cord features an on/off toggle switch.
Blue patinated / painted glass shows considerable wear to the finish, as this type of process typically comes off with age. Most noticeable when the lamp is on. The glass itself is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
Size approx 6\" tall (to top of brass finial), 3.5\"x3.5\" at base.
Rare collector item from the fair features such great Art Deco styling, wonderful addition to a collection.
