Austrian Sword M1861 Infantry / Police WW2 Austrian Gendarm Police Dagger WW 2 For Sale

This is an AustrianMilitaryPolice or Infantry M-1861 sword. The sword is in very good condition. The grip is tight to the hilt. The blade has no nicks and is maker marked. The nickle has wear in some areas from being carried but is overall good condition for its age. The fish skin handle wrap is very good also. The sword fits snugly in it\'s original scabbard. The blade is 75 cm long and overall length of the sword in the scabbard is 95 cm. I purchased this sword in Vienna many years ago along with two other police swords. These swords were also used up to WW2 By Austrian GendarmMilitaryPolice units.It is a very nice sword and looks great on display. The photo is not part of this sale and is forreference only.
