THE QUEEN MARY
One 1st Class Antique Deck Chair
Here is a rare 1st Class Teakwood Deck Chair from The Queen Mary I, removed when the City of Long Beach, California purchased the vessel to use as both a local Tourist attraction and a hotel.
This antique chair has been in storage for many years. It is in good condition, appearing somewhat surfaced weathered. A pair of teakwood deck chairs, one from the Queen Mary, and the other from Queen Elizabeth, were sold as Lot # 735 at the 2003 Sotheby\'s sale as part of the \"Bill Blass\" art collection, and fetched no less that US$13,200. They were in much the same condition of what is being offered here.
For collectors of Titanic-like memorabilia, from a ship with a glorious history, this is an opportunity to add their history to your collection.
