BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SACRART 1960 GOEBEL CRÈCHE AND NATIVITY SET, 12 PIECES TOTAL For Sale

I am so happy to offerthis amazing vintage 1960,12piece set of a Goebel Hummel Nativity Set just in timefor the Christmas season.This is an estate find and has been with the same family since it was purchased in 1960.Both the husband and wife were local physicians. The set has been stored in the original boxes and still includes the original instruction sheet. This set was made in West Germany and all pieces are stamped. There are11 figurines and one largewooden crèche (Stable). All of the pieces are in beautiful condition. There are no cracks, chips or repairs.Thereare some areas withlight crazing.All 12 pieces are marked, stamped, labeled, and/or engraved. Several of them have more thanone identifier.Four of the pieces are marked Unger on the backat the bottom (See Photo). The Unger stands for Goebel\'smaster sculpter and designer, Reinhold Unger. This is a largesize set. I measured at the widest point on each piece and the tallest point in each piece...Baby Jesus is 3in.x 2 1/8 in., Joseph is 8in.x 3in., Mary (kneeling) 4in.x 6 1/2 in., wiseman (standing) 8 3/4in. X 3in, wiseman (stooping) 7 1/2in.x 4 1/4, wiseman (kneeling) 4in.x 6in., Shepherd Boy (kneeling) 5 1/2in.x 2 3/4in., Calf 5 1/2in.x 4 1/4in., Lamb (standing) 2 1/2in.x 2 1/2in., Donkey (standing) 4 1/2in.x 3 3/4in., Sheep (laying) 3 1/4in.x 2in.Thecrèche (stable)is big and has a solid wood base, It measures 26 inches long andabout 14 1/2 inches tall. You won\'t want to miss this set. They are becoming harder and harder to find, especially in this condition.
