Bridge Bell of the P&O Liner S.S. Himalaya, 1949.

From the Estate of \"LCDR Lewis E. Angelo, MSC, USN\"

Cast in solid brass with clapper, braided cord and bulkhead bracket. Incised \"S.S. HIMALAYA 1949.\"

This vintage brass bell came from the estate of a former NAVY MSC.

The bell is a good shape with minor wear from age and constant use.

The bell could include or not include a piece of wood that held it on the wall.

The bell clapper looks pretty old. The braided cord attached to it looks old, too.

I don’t have aProvenance, but I sold 1 piece and I’m currently listing anotherpiece that came from the same estate and have the MSC name on those.

I’M NOT SURE IF THIS BELL IS A 1949 ORIGINAL, so please ask when in doubt,

the clapper is a about 7” inches from top to bottom and without the braided cord
