Bulova Accutron 214 movement brass presentation mantle desktop shelf clock. The Excellent condition dial features the original \"frosted\" or satin finish silvered background with gold tone inlaid bar hour markers and the tuning fork, Bulova and Accutron logos.
The hands are gold tone \"Pitched Dauphine\" style hands.
Solid brass, and weighs almost 3 pounds! The original glass crystal is clean & clear and free from any scratches or cracks (may have some dust).
The rear cover of the clock has an engraving that reads \"DEC. 6TH, 1970 (LAUGH!)\".
The 214tuning fork watchmovement is humming and running. It has a fresh cell and has been keeping time, but may need cleaning or adjusting.
Looks amazing for a display piece that is almost 50 years old! The clock measures 5\" wide, 4 1/2\" high, and 1 3/4\" deep. The base measures 2\" x 5 1/2\".Looks all original but I cannot guaranteethat as I do not know provenancebeyond the last 8 years in my posession.
I am including the original Accutron by Bulova case/box in excellent condition with light wear and completely intact with one mark on top where a label must have been removed. I will ship the clock in this box.
