Excellent vintage condition Avirex Ltd. Brown Leather A-2 Bomber Jacket, size 38, Camel Gear RARE. This is a hard to find jacket - collectable to both bomber jacket fans and Camel fans. The style is a Type A-2 USAAF leather pilot\'s jacket, 1941- 42 style. Includes original tag (in pocket).

Excellent vintage condition. Clean inside and out. One tiny hole in front near lapel (see last photo - it is hard to see unless you are really examining the jacket - I was able to catch it with the light). A couple of tiny wear areas, consistent with age of jacket (2 on back and one under arm - all in photos close-ups). Aged patina of the metal snaps and clips (I do not clean items in order to retain patina and aged look). Really excellent shape!! I am estimating this jacket was made sometime in early 1980\'s. The leather could use a good rub with oil/leather treatment, there is vintage wear on the jacket base fabric (some pilling but can beremoved easily, if you wish).

The Camel Gear logo is on the left front pocket, plus interior tag. That really sets this jacket apart and puts it on a higher level from the basic Avirex jacket (I say basic, but really all of the Avirex jackets are the industry standard for exceptional quality). This is a collectors item - try to find another (I haven\'t been able to yet!). Rare, exceptional quality, and a great jacket for wear or display.
