Nice Napoleon 12 Pound Gun-Howitzer Centennial Guns 1 inch scale 1861-1865. Appears to be in good vintage condition - estate find - dusty - one issue we noted on the brass barrel looks like a round area of oxidation? (please see photo where we point this out); brass plate on the front has some scuffs and scratches; the green felt on the bottom of the wood display stand shows some wear.
Nice polished walnut stand fitted with heavy gold metal wheel stops. Brass-barrel howizter is built to authentic scale and comes with plungers, ramrods, can, and rope. The brass identification plate is inscribed with
CENTENNIAL GUNS/ 1861-1865/12 POUND NAPOLEON GUN-HOWITZER/ 1 INCH SCALE. Comes with the original little brochure display card about the item (folded size is 2\" side x 2.5\" high; open size is 4\" x 2.5\" high).
The cannon measures 11\" long x 5\" high x 6.25\" wide. The felt-lined walnut base is 14\" x 7.25\" x 1\". The cannon wheels are 5\" in diameter; the cannon barrel is 6\". The two plungers measure 7.5\" and the two ramrods are 4.5\". Total weight is 6.5 pounds.
