Corona No 3 Antique Portable Folding Typewriter with Case For Sale

This Corona No. 3 portable folding typewriter is in very nice vintage condition. My first job was a typing teacher in a small school in northern Indiana in 1975. I taught in a classroom with 35 manual typewriters. This typewriter brings back lots of memories!! I put paper in this typewriter an checked it out to the best of my ability. It seems to be in great operating condition. The ribbon probably could be re-inked because it has dried out over time but all of the keys seem to work properly and the carriage advanced as the keys were struck. This is style that didn\'t have a return lever on the left side. You have to push the carriage back by hand and press the lever on the left side to roll the cylinder to the next line. It is very clean and all of the decals are in great shape except the one I pictured. It folds open and closes easily. The case is also in good vintage condition. The button on the latch still works! The serial number is 45682. I\'m not sure of the exact age but I would guess it is from the early 1900\'s. Hopefuly the pictures tell the story of this nice piece of history.
