DONALD DUCK ~ ONE OF A KIND 60-PIECE LOT OF RARE DISNEY COLLECTIBLES ~:
$360.00

In this listing we are offering a very unique assortment of Donald Duck collectibles. Assembling everything here was a project that literally spans decades and it includes personal items from the collection of a significant figure in the world of animation, namely John Cawley. We have one offering like this for almost every major animated film and character and more complete details on the background are included at the end of this listing.

John Cawley worked in the animation industry for many years and for a unique variety of studios including Disney, Warner Bros., Hanna-Barbera, Sullivan-Bluth, Film Roman and Marvel. He put together a wonderful personal collection of memorabilia from all of these sources which contributed to the several books he authored about various aspects of the world of animation. The titles of books he wrote or co-wrote include “The Encyclopedia of Cartoon Superstars”, “How to Create Animation”, “The Films of Don Bluth”, “Who’s Who of Animation” and “Cartoon Confidential”.

In the early 1990’s, Cawley made the decision to accept a position in Japan working for Marvel Animation. Prior to his move, John sold his expansive personal collection to us. We have held on to everything for the past few decades and have now made the decision to offer these rare collectibles for sale. As collectors and the owners of an animation memorbilia business ourselves, we have also stockpiled numerous materials over the years and we are contributing much of our personal collection to this listing as well.
