Lovely Green Stone Table LampDescription and Item Information
Up for sale is this gorgeous bronze-mounted stone table lamp. Please excuse the glare in the photos. The stone is believed to be marble, although I have see it identified as onyx by other sellers. It is green with areas of brown. The lamp has bronze elements, including two impressive satyr heads. The finial is also very nice; it has a matching stone disc. To the top of the finial, this lamp is approximately 28 inches tall; at the base, the diameter is about 4 3/4 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 10 pounds 13.7 ounces. This has two sockets which each accept a standard light bulb. There is no lamp shade. This would be a fantastic addition to a classic, refined decor. Identification
This lamp is unsigned. It is likely French, circa 1920s.Condition
The lamp looks very good overall, with light wear. There are a few minor dings / flakes / contact marks, but no large or distracting chips. The green stone has fractures inherent to it, but there are no post-manufacturing cracks. The bronze mounts are not broken or missing. The lamp works. As with all used electrical items, this should be inspected or rewired by a professional before use, even though the visible electrical components look fine cosmetically. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made. 3. Shipping and Handling
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller typically ships on Mondays and Thursdays, unless a holiday or special circumstance precludes it. If payment is via Paypal, the merchandise will be shipped on the seller\'s next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier. Economy shipping within the U.S. includes delivery to a physical address via an economy shipping method of the seller\'s choice. At the discretion of the seller, a faster shipping method may be utilized at no additional cost to the buyer. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping and handling costs may be required.
