German WW1 Baden Zahringian Lion Merit Cross, original Award For Sale

A very good Merit Cross of the order of the Zahringen Lion.Awarded prior to and during WW1 for exceptional service both in war and to the service of the state.A scarce award, this is a 1920\'s piece, not a war time awarded piece. No maker mark but all I have read points towards Zimmerman as the maker.It has come off a medal bar. I have had it for more than 15 years but its time to go.Original, old ribbon but post war.
