Graf von Faber-Castell Perfect Pencil Black Desk Set Mirror Finish (orig. $525):
$325.00

This is a brand-new set. The Perfect Pencil.

The Graf von Faber-Castell Pen and Pencil Case is a delight on any sophisticated desk. A container and work of art at the same time, this case celebrates the pencil. It is fashioned in a wood that was once the favourite of Nuremberg\'s craftsmen - choice German alder. Its heavy metal lid is decorated with a high-quality mirror finish. Each case is numbered and comes with a certificate, signed by the master craftsman to document the quality of his work. The set comes with a Perfect Pencil (see below), 4 spare pencils and 4 replaceable erasers.

The culmination of the history of the pencil is the \"Perfect Pencil\" from Graf von Faber-Castell. Enjoyment in writing and sketching with the classic pencil means that it should always be sharp. But where to keep the sharpener? The best place, of course, is there where you need it - on the pencil, integrated in the extender, which protects it while making it suitable to keep in your pocket. The pencil extender with integrated sharpener occupies a special position in our collection. Together with the replaceable eraser under the pencil\'s cap, everything is always quickly accessible within the smallest space - for writing, correcting and sharpening.

The pencils are made of cedar wood and come with a replaceable eraser. The cap and accents are made of platinum.

In 1761, Kaspar Faber started to produce pencils in Stein, near Nuremberg. When the fourth generation,Baron Lothar von Faber, took over the company in 1839 he turned the pencil into a true quality product and the world\'s first branded writing instrument. Over the centuries, he and his descendants created remarkable products. The result is the Graf von Faber-Castell Collection, a range of extraordinary writing instruments and accessories. They embody \"Luxury in Simplicity\" by combining selected materials, functionality and superb aesthetics.
