Cleaning: This pan has been safely cleaned (with food grade products) of the caked on grease which gets a rancid smell when left without use for so many years as with most of these vintage pans. I have not used any power tools to buff or polish the original beautiful cast iron.The gentle cleaning I do hasreturned the pan back to its originalbeauty.
Iknow what a crack looks like and I have thoroughly checked this pan for any cracks, warping, pits, rust or repairs.
