I do not sell any \"copies\", \"reproductions\", nor \"prints\" and categorize them as Original Art. The definition of original art is when actual pencil, pen, marker, ink, or paint is used to render an illustration by an artist by hand.
I only sell ORIGINALART. This was used in the production of the actual comic book, it\'s a one-of-a-kind item.
I am a believer as collectors we\'re mere custodians of the artwork, holding onto it for safe keeping for future generations to enjoy. With that, I\'ve decided to reduce and pare down my collection and put up for sale various pieces for other collectors to enjoy. I\'ve invested a lot of time and money acquiring my collection of original artwork and it\'s nice to find them a new happy home to the winning buyer.

This is the cover for HACK / SLASH and THE SUICIDE GIRLS crossover sequel to the Annual #1 from 2008, but from what I\'ve read and heard, this comic book never saw the light of day (yet) since there were some creative issues between the managers of both sides and it sounds like the project was shelved.
This artwork is by JENNY FRISON who illustrated this on 14\" x 17\" paper, which is oversized from the industry standard of 11\" x 17\" however if you look at the left and right side margin borders if you wanted to, you could in fact crop this paper down to an 11\" x 17\" size without impacting any of the original art since the art area is right at 11\" x 17\" in rendering space.
HACK/SLASH is sizzling hot right now, if you look for the 1st appearance of Cassie Hack and Vlad of Hack/Slash, the comic book from 2004 has been skyrocketing in value.
The increased demand is mainly due to the news and anticipation of the TV series. In October 2015 Relativity Television announced the development of a HACK/SLASH television series to be written by Skip Woods (writer of \"X-Men Origins : Wolverine\", \"Swordfish\", \"Hitman\", etc.), and there was even rumors of a Hack/Slash motion picture film as a possibility as a movie.
This sale does NOT come with any of the color images as they are just images for contextual reference. I don\'t believe that they exist in the printed format. These are colored versions of the artwork and what was to have been published but remains to date, I believe, as unpublished for now. So, I thought I\'d share how they look here. I\'d imagine with the Hack/Slash property hot and on the upswing and The Suicide Girls down from their pinnacle, where the issues were rumored mainly to be on the part of the Suicide Girls when they held the hot hand back in 2008-09, now that the tables have turned and I speculate the comic book itself is complete as is obviously the cover (as evidenced here with this artwork here by Jenny Frison), it could be a matter of short term time \'til this comes out and is published as the demand for Hack/Slash material will be increasing with all of the news about TV and/or Movie licensing.
This HACK/SLASH and SUICIDE GIRLS cover is a large ORIGINAL ART cover piece which is 14\" x 17\", and standard comic art measures 11\" x 17\", so it\'s 3\" wider then the norm of traditional artwork.
JENNY FRISON is known primarily as a cover illustrating artist whose work has been seen with IDW, Dynamite, Dark Horse, Zenescope, Image Comics, Boom, Valiant , and Marvel Comics as well as many indie alternative small press publishers. She\'s famed for her Red Sonja, Angel (of \"Buffy the Vampire Slayer\") and Vampirella covers but even more noted for her work on REVIVAL. She\'s one of the hottest artists in comic books today. Many have likened her fine art style to that of James Jean in her rendering and creative concept work.
