For Sale: HUGE Vintage 48 Star USA Flag from Defiance Flag Co. in great condition for the age. Estimated flag date between 1912 and 1959 so it made has possibly been made prior to World War II or in between. The flag color remain vibrant and beautiful (See photos). Would love to get this enormous flag to the right buyer by Veterans Day (willing to work out shipping requirements to make it happen).

• Size: 7’-0” x 14’-0” (actual 6’-6” x 13’-4”)

• Maker mark- \"DEFIANCE Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. 2 ply. moth proof BUNTING\"

• Defiance brand from Flag Company called Annin: In business since 1847 it is the oldest and the biggest of American flag makers.

• The 48 Star flag was the official flag from 1912 to 1959 (WW2 era)

• Stars and stripes are individually machine sown on.

• The flag is double sided.

• Corners near the hoists are reinforced with an extra layer of cloth in a triangular pattern.

• Materials: Feels like a Wool/Nylon blend field and stripes; cotton stars.

• Condition: Great condition for age, there are a few small holes around stars (see photos). Other than that normal wear noticeable with few stains from age
