1930\'s Dollar Line President\'s Wooden Ship Model in Shadow Box 22 Inch Ship For Sale

Here is an old carved ship, modeled after the Dollar Line Shipping President models that were made in the 1930\'s. The ship is marked The President Hoover on one side of the bow and The President Coolidge on the other side. It sits on a shelf that slides in a groove into a shadow box that is painted blue and gray to give the effect of a ship at sea. The Hoover was built in 1930 and the Coolidge wascompleted in 1931, so I\'m thinking this model may have been made around that time.. It has the iconic dollar sign logos on the smoke stacks and the American Flag waving at the stern. It\'s in very good condition for what might be an 80+ year old model with what appears to be several row boats missing and some other minor flaws.
