Keuffel & Esser K&E Table Surveying Alidade Model 76-0030 w/Oak Case - Excellent For Sale

Here’s a beautiful table surveying alidade by Keuffel & Esser. Not sure of the vintage, but I would guess 1940-50. Like all K&E products, it’s design and construction is unparalleled. As you can see, the condition is very nice, and all of it’s functions and controls operate as they should. The optics and the angled eyepiece (which affords its low profile) are sharp and clear. All the spirit levels have the correct size bubbles, and the compass unlocks and orients to north as it should. The oak box is equally as nice with tight box joints and fitted slots that secure the instrument while in transit. I haven’t seen this particular model on in quite awhile, so if you’re a K&E instrument fan or collector, this might be a unique opportunity.
