This vintage vanity hinged footed box is from around 1940-50\'s and in GREAT condition, with beautiful gilding and shine! It\'s just gorgeous with rows of applied crystal clear prong set rhinestones. Beautiful pierced filigree designs with relief cherubs and ornate metal. The gilt metal I believe is brass or some other metal, gilt ormolu ~beautiful gilt plated gold/gilded finish with original gilding and beautiful patina still shiny. Clear Rose/ Peach tone BEVELEDGlass panels throughout the box; Unmarked but is either Matson USA or Stylebuilt I believe. Please see photos, they are part of description, email with questions. Box is in great condition and so is the glass. NO missing or broken rhinestones. The soft velvet inside the box has brass studs on it and shows some wear from age- as shown on the photos. the bottom of the box is velvet and shows some wear as well and some of the prongs at the very bottom underneath the base are missing; this is how it came.
