Rare and very beautiful antique teak wood hand carved Hindu Shrine, found in Gujarat, India over twenty five years ago. Late 19th or early 20th century. 33\"tall x 28\"wd. x 13\"dp. Fantastic workmanship, with wonderful old paint patina. Elaborately carved human figures flanked by birds with floral motifs and carved lattice windows. Some very minor chips and dings, but overall condition is excellent. A truly wonderful and collectable piece. This items weighs approximately 44 lbs, thus the shipping and handling cost.
