This is thegorgeous and extremely rare Le Creuset Kiwi Green 2-3/4 Qt (2.6L) 22 cm Cast Iron Soup Pot that is a must have in the home kitchens of some of the world\'s most famous chefs.You mayalready be aware that the Kiwi Green color of the Le Creuset has been discontinued and many items in this color are very difficult to find at all.
I absolutely love this green color of Le Creuset-it is such a lovely Spring color and is positively beautiful to just sit out as a decoration in your kitchen when you are not using it.
This is brand new and as you can see, has the original labels on the side and bottom and comes with the product booklet and in it\'s original box although the box may not be in perfect condition. This soup pot does have a tiny paint skip at the top of the pot edge-from the manufacturing process and I can see a few superficial abrasions to the paint that will not show up when I tried to photo them. These are not deep scratches but if you look closely, you can see them. Because of this, I am discounting this soup pot $20 from the last one that I sold. These are very minor-so please do not let it deter you from purchasing this soup pot, if you want it. This is the last one of these that I have.
It\'s sloped sides are great for stirring soups, stews, chili, and the bottom is small enough that you can cook with it on a smaller burner.
I love this piece of Le Creuset for it\'s versatility. Soups, sure, it is fantastic for that but it works just as great for chilled foods because the cast iron holds the cold temperatures also. Just put this pot, lid and all, into your freezer for an hour or two then place your favorite chilled summer salads into it- Then place it on your table for your meal to keep that salad cooled for serving. Just as Le Creuset keeps food hot on the table, it works comparably well to keep your chilled items cool also.Try it, you can\'t beat it.
The 2-3/4 Qt. Soup Pot measures about 9\" (22 cm) in diameterand including the handles measures 11-3/4\" (30 cm). The pot measures 3-1/2\" (9 cm) high and 5-1/4\" (13.5 cm) high with the lid in place.
