The hilt is removable and the shards are permanently mounted on the massive plaque. This officially licensed adult collectible is strictly limited to 5000 pieces and is individually serialized for authenticity on the cloisonne medallion that adorns the front of the display plaque. This piece is #671 and a very rare find for such a low number.Includes a parchment certificate of authenticity, along with a second certificate personally autographed by production artist John Howe, who designed the hilt on the Narsil sword and played a major role in designing many of the other swords featured in the Lord of the Rings trilogy of feature films.
