In 30\'s many Swiss andGerman manufacturers supplied watches mainly for military purposes and thisspecimen is executed in a military style. This model of wristwatch wasused in military German Navy. Similar watches were worn by seamen and officersof submarines and warships.
This gorgeous men’s timepiecefeatures a restored dial. The originalre-painted face easily readableArabic figures of a military style, large hands and a sub-second’s dialwith a 60 second outer track border. On the dial there is the inscription \"MARINE MILITARY\" and a number #26364 thatrepeated on the case lids.
This model of timepiece has afour-piece, double hinged case. Theexistence of an inner dust cover lid is a good sign of a quality watch. It wasused to protect the mechanism from dust and debris and to provide an extralayer of protection from shock or moisture. The inner case lid is branded.
The winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly.
This watchis mechanical and completelyoriginal. This beautiful wristwatch has high-grade mechanism in an excellent status which was very wellsaved, considering age of this watch. Alljewels are held in chatons. The mechanism has also a swan neck micrometer for set of the accuracy of the watch. The jewels in chatons, and swan neckmicrometer testify to high level of the mechanism.

The watch is fitted on a new 22 mm black genuine high-quality leather strapwith chrome steel buckle. The beautiful strap that is stitched by whitethreads is military style and goes very well with this wonderful watch.
