But calls for a longer blade and a less aggressive design rang true. Enter the Crux: a full-sized gentleman’s folder made with the same premium materials as before, this time in a more universally appealing package. With a 3.4-inch drop-point blade made from S35VN steel, widely regarded as one of the best blade steels on the market, the Crux is suitable for an assortment of tasks—like opening letters and packages, shaving tinder, slicing food, and more. The bead-blasted 6AL4V titanium handle is lightweight and strong, with a built-in frame lock for secure lockup. It features a tension-adjusted pocket clip for both righties and lefties.
