THERE IS A COLLAR HOOK MISSING ON ONE SIDE AND A SMALL TEAR OF THE SEAM. THE HOOKS FOR THE CAPE ARE ALSO PRESENT UNDER THE COLLAR BUT THERE IS NO CAPE INCLUDED IN THIS sale. THE HANGING CHAIN IS BROKEN.
THE COAT WAS ISSUED AND USED IN THE FIELD BUT IS CLEAN ANDVERY WELL PRESERVED WITH JUST A COUPLE OF SMALL MOTH HOLES AND A FEW PERIOD REPAIRS, NOTHING SIGNIFICANT.

Here are some measurements onthis coat.
It may be close to a size 40.The sleeves from the top of sleeve seam to bottom of cuff \"25 inch\". Across the top of the back seam to seam side overall 20 and 1/2 inch.. From the back of the collar middle bottom as folded all the way to bottom of back vent 46.
Hope this helps. Keep in mind that the coat is well over 100 years old and I cannot guarantee that the seams will hold if you would want to wear it.
