Native American Navajo Fire Pit Traditional basket handmade by B. Johnson For Sale

This is a 13\"x4\" deep Fire Pit Traditional basket handmade by Betty Johnson in 2011. This basket was purchased by Pat Seltzer who was teacher, counselor and principal for the local high school on the Navajo Reservation for 30 years and in that time frame she became friends with Peggy Black (a former student of Pat\'s). As Pat\'s interest in these authentic baskets and the artwork talents of some of her former students grew so did her interest and excitement in their items. As word got out Pat was approached by several other weavers who began selling their baskets to her. The Black, Holiday, Rock and Johnson family basket weavers have become very close friends with Pat throughout the years and have sold several baskets as well as other woven pieces of art to her as time went by. Pat has considered using our services to both sell on the internet through sites such as as well as set up a consignment store to sell many of her items locally which is a great honor on our part. Upon request from the winning buyer we would be more than happy to ask Pat to provide a signed letter of authenticity as coming from her collection.
