One of the most elaborate laserdiscbox sets ever released, this massive package contains both of the Evangelionmovies: Death & Rebirth Internet Movie Database LaserDisc Database and Endof Evangelion Internet Movie Database LaserDisc Database. Both movies areentirely in CAV format. They are presented in the original Japanese languagewith no subtitles or translation. The picture transfers have a little bit ofchroma noise, but are noticeably sharper and more detailed than the lateroverly-compressed American DVD editions.

The discs have no videosupplements; however the box set comes with an incredible amount of peripheralmaterial:

• A pack of trading cards featuring artwork from the original TV serieslaserdisc jacket covers

Looks unopened and complete

• A set of 3 Japanese telephone cards with character artwork

Never used

• A very complex model kit for the Eva-01 robot

All bags still sealed, box in mint condition, with Bandaiinsert inside

• A smaller 5-piece model for the Rei Ayanami character

Each movie comes in its own gatefold jacket. The box itself even has apicture of a naked woman on the front cover. This is truly an anime fan-boy\'sdream!

Laserdisc -- 98% Mint- : The Discs have no visible, scratches, scuffs ormarks, but may be just a little dusty but I don’t have the facilities to cleanit nor the experience, I will leave that to the people who know how. I can’ttest it as I do not have a laserdisc player, but I imagine they would playextremely well.

Cover -- 98% EX++ : Each has a Heavy Card GatefoldPasted cover (except the last one which is a single cover), These have no rips,tears or seams coming undone. On the back and inside are the credits and achapter listing in Japanese.

Obi Strip -- 98% EX++ : This has no rips, tears orcreases, except the ones I have noted. All information on here is in Japanese.

Insert -- 2 Inserts : The first fourteen have the TwoOriginal Inserts which are both 1 page 2 sides long, the first has a picture ofthe cover on it. The second insert is two sides of manga and information, thisis in Japanese. These have no rips, tears or creases. The tenth one has a flyerin it about disc maintenance and repairs.
