Original 1854 Springfield Lock Plate & Miscellaneous Parts:

For sale is this original, difficult to find, 1854 Springfield musket lock plate with miscellaneous parts, which include what I believe are Springfield Barrel Bands as they each have have the distinctive U stamp, one swivel and four miscellaneous screws. Lock plate comes complete with hammer and mainspring, and has the stamped Springfield Eagle with US just below it. Lock and hammer are in very nice conditions and while I\'m not a gunsmith I believe they would be ready to insert and any 1854 musket. EB235
